Marcus Elmore, Project Editor of Choice magazine’s Resources for College Libraries, is looking for qualified contributors for the Science and Engineering section of the future new edition of the Resources. The work will take place over the next six to eight weeks. Bibliographers will suggest titles for some small slice of Technology and Engineering with which they are well acquainted. These titles should be the ones most valuable for teaching the subject to undergraduates, though not necessarily those (or all of those) appropriate for an undergraduate engineering-major program.. CHOICE: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries is now recruiting new faculty reviewers. There seems to be a great need for reviewers in science and technology: climate and weather physics mathematics astronomy earth sciences, especially earthquakes, seismology, volcanology welding electric motors gas turbines automotive technology heating, ventilation, and air conditioning transportation diesel engine technology; other engines lighting textiles and photography history and philosophy of science and technology nanotechnology materials science microwave-based communications electromagnetics oceanography cold regions/Arctic areas/Antarctica/snow and ice electrical engineering, especially signal processing Reviewers are not paid but get to keep the books.
