IFLA Sci-Tech Section tour

The Sci-Tech Section of IFLA is preparing a full day of touring during the IFLA conference in Seoul later this August.
The activity is an off-site visit to Daeduk Science Town, the Silicon Valley of Korea by coach with an English- peaking guide. The study tour is hosted by the Science and Technology Libraries section, organized in collaboration with the Scientific and Technological Information Management Association of Korea STIMA. and co-sponsored by the Information Technology Section. This will be a full-day trip to visit the leading research institutes KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information), on Tuesday, 22 August 2006 with additional tour to Donghak Buddhist Temple in the beautiful Gyeryongsan National Park. The tour is available to 40 members of the two IFLA sections and their registered accompanying persons, and to STIMA members.
