SLA Sci-Tech: call for nominations

The Science and Technology Division of SLA is now accepting nominations for two board positions:
- Chair-Elect (January-December 2007, term as chair begins January 2008)
- Treasurer (January 2007-December 2008, always a two-year term)
Deadline is March 15. Self-nominations are also encouraged. Elections will be held in early September. These officers will be expected to attend the Leadership Summit in Reno NV in January 2007 (some travel funds available). Send nominations to Darra Ballance.

As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services. I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe. A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere. I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
