EPA libraries to close?

Last week, the news starting going around that the Environmental Protection Agency’s libraries could be at risk of closure after proposed budget cuts by the federal government. The electronic catalog which tracks tens of thousands of unique documents and research studies is threatened as well. Ironically enough, at the same time, President Bush is saying to want more research in the field.
Today, SLA announced its strong opposition to the Bush Administration proposal.
