IFLA – Agricultural Libraries Group – Call for papers

IFLA’s Agricultural Libraries Discussion Group will be hosting a 2 hour session at World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) to be held in Seoul. Submissions to present are now accepted.
The theme is “Forging partnerships between libraries and extension services for improved access to agricultural information.” The focus of submissions should be on practical rather than theoretical aspects. The deadline for submitting a detailed, one-page abstract (350 words) and full author details is December 25th, 2005, to Deva E. Reddy.
As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services. I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe. A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere. I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
