SLA-FAN – call for presenters

The Food and Nutrition Division of SLA is sending out its first call for presenters for its Contributed Papers Session at the upcoming SLA Annual Conference in Baltimore, June 11-14, 2006. This particular session will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 1:30-3:00 pm. There is no particular theme for the session apart for a topic that will interest FAN members. The deadline is March 15.

“Papers should discuss original research, innovative projects, or other professional activities of interest to the FAN Division. Presenters do not need to be a member of FAN or of SLA to submit a proposal for consideration.

Presentations are 20 minutes followed by a 5 minute question and answer period.

To Submit a Proposal:

Proposals may be submitted by e-mail, mail, or fax. Proposals must include the following:
Author’s name
Author’s Affiliation
Full mailing address
E-Mail address
Phone and fax numbers
Presentation title
Reason this paper will be of interest to the FAN community Abstract (at least 300-500 words clearly describing the paper to be presented)
