CRCnetBASE news

At SLA, I took a few minutes to talk to the CRCnetBASE people. They have new collections coming up:

  • PlantSCIENCEnetBASE- Continues CRC’s role as the agriculturist’s and botanist’s resource of choice, providing handbooks, and texts on soil science, pesticides, plant pathology, and a growing host of topics from tomatoes and Echinacea to transgenics and evolutionary biology.
  • BIOSCIENCEnetBASE – An incredible array of handbooks, reviews and research volumes from the world’s most dynamic microbiologists, geneticists, biomedical engineers, health professionals and researchers.
  • POLYMERSnetBASE – Now you can simultaneously search three databases of polymer information: Polymeric Materials Encyclopedia – Polymers: A Property Database – Polymer Books from Taylor and Francis.
  • CHEMLIBnetBASE (coming later this year)

In ENGnetBASE, something I didn’t know, they have pulled vertical specific references groups:

The interface has been updated. There is also a Lib Corner for librarians, from which, I imagine, more content will be linked.
