ASEE-ELD Banquet registration

To participate in the ELD Banquet at the Portland conference, you need to register with the session moderator, Elizabeth Mengel. Registration must be made before June 9, 10:00 am Eastern Time. All the details are in the extended entry.

What I need from you, please read completely before replying!
1. Email indicating you will be attending the banquet (affirmative replies only).

2. Indicate if you are bringing a guest. The banquet is free to ELD members, guest costs will be $50 payable in cash or check at the event. However, all guests must be registered prior to the event.

3. Indicate your entrée choice (see below for a more detailed description)

_______Cedar Plank Salmon
_______Grilled Chicken and Shrimp

Date and Time
The banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 14th from 6:00-9:00.

Banquet Location
This year the banquet will be held at the historic Governor’s Hotel located at 614 SW 11th Street in Portland. http://www.govhotel.com/ The hotel can be accessed from the Convention Center via MAX, the light rail system. Detailed directions to the event will be handed out in Portland.

Event Plan
Drinks and appetizers will be served in the Library from 6:00-6:45. Dinner will be served in the Billiard Room on the same floor from 6:45-9:00. (Sounds a bit like the game Clue, doesn’t it?)

Menu
Salad:
Pear, walnut, and blue cheese salad with balsamic vinaigrette.

Choice of entrée (choose one):
Grilled Vegetable Napoleon with seasonal vegetables stacked and served with herb sauce.
Cedar plank salmon with charred fruit salsa, garlic mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables.
Grilled chicken and shrimp in a mild shallot, chive, mustard sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables.

Dessert:
Build your own berry shortcake with seasonal berries and Amaretto laced whipped cream.

Drink selection includes local micro brewed beers, regional wines, soda, mineral water, domestic beer, and mixed drinks.
