CAB Abstracts Archives soon available

CABI Publishing has announced the near lauch of the CAB Abstracts Archives database. The Archives will cover the literature from 1910 to 1972, combining 17 printed abstract journals on agricultural science, veterinary medicine, nutrition and natural resources.
The CAB Abstracts Archive is due to be delivered on the CAB Direct platform in the second quarter of 2005 and on Ovid and SilverPlatter in the third quarter. The Archive will be available on other platforms after that.
As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services. I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe. A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere. I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
