This is not usually a discipline I cover but since this will be taking place in my friendly adoptive home state…
The International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD) XI World Congress & The United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN) Biennial Conference will be taking place next May 15th to the 21st in Lexington, KY.
Abstracts are now accepted for contributer papers, poster sessions and topical symposia in any of the following tracks: Technology; Human Interface; Digital Divide; Solo Providers. Deadline is August 15.

As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services. I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe. A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere. I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
