According to CAS, and their usage statistics garnered by its Science Spotlight service, the most requested document in real-time (RDR) for 2003 is:

Hartwig, John F.; Shelby,Quinetta D.; Kataoka, Noriyasu; Stambuli, James P. “Air Stable, Sterically Hindered Ferrocenyl Dialkylphosphines for Palladium-Catalyzed C-C, C-N, and C-O Bond-Forming Cross-Couplings,” Journal of Organic Chemistry (2002), 67 (16).

Dr. C. Dale Poulter, editor of Journal of Organic Chemistry, received the highest number of RDRs for the editors. The Journal of the American Chemical Society was the journal who received the most RDRs.
