IEEE Distributed Systems Online becomes the first IEEE web-based journal to be completely free. The magazine’s entire archive is available at its website, and will be available in IEEE Xplore at a later date.

It is now possible to include IEE journal titles in the Xplore email alerts.

IEEE will hold a user group meeting in the Chicago area on May 18. Librarians are invited to preview upcoming IEEE online enhancements. The meeting will be at the Argonne National Laboratory. Contact Rachel Berrington for more details.

There are now two subscription options (and price) for the IEEE Biomedical Engineering Library. Option one offers one simultaneous user license for an organization, while the second option offers five simultaneous users.
