Dec 3, 2003 by

The Science and Technology Section of ACRL is now calling for papers and poster sessions for the ALA Annual Conference in Orlando in 2004.

Two proposals for presentations will be selected for the the Research Forum. Proposals should simply address issues in science and technology librarianship in its broadest sense. Abstracts submitted, not exceeding 250 words, should convey the title and purpose of the project, its scope, methodology, conclusions, and relevance to science and technology librarianship. Priority will be given to papers that indicate research analyses, either quantitative or qualitative.

Proposals for posters relating to the program theme, “Making Connections on Campus: Collaborative approaches to information literacy in the sciences” are also encouraged. Posters will be presented after the STS Program during the STS Reception on June 24, 2004. A brief description of the poster (250 words or less) should be submitted including your name, institution, phone, fax, e-mail address, and poster title.

Submission of abstracts should be made via e-mail to Karen Grigg, Co-Chair of the STS Research Committee. Deadline is December 15.
