A lot is going on right now for science librarians. Let’s see:

– A Science Librarian is needed at California State University, Long Beach.

– At California State University, Hayward a Reference/Instruction Librarian with a specialization in physical sciences is wanted.

– The Robert W. Woodruff Library, at the Atlanta University Center, GA, is looking for a Science Librarian II.

– Earlham College in Richmond, IN, is looking for an Head of the Wildman Science Library for a one-year contract.

– UC Berkeley is looking for an Head for the Earth Sciences and Map Library. Subjects covered are geological and planetary sciences, geography, map reading and map cataloging.

– Also at Berkeley, a Lead Archivist for Science and Technology Collections is needed at the Bancroft Library.

– The Paul V. Galvin Library at the Illinois Institute of Technology, is looking for a Reference/GIS Librarian. The focus of the position is geographic information systems, what else?

– In the private sector, two Reference Librarians are needed at ZAI/Amelex, one in Dayton, OH, the other in Washington, DC.
